Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced this at a government meeting.
He noted that it is planned to put 80% of potentially mined areas into operation in less than 10 years.
“For this we will attract innovative developments to mine clearance, create joint production of warm-up equipment with partners, train specialists, develop the market for mine action operators,” added the head of government.
According to Shmygal, the state budget for this year has provided three billion hryvnia for compensation to farmers and other land owners who will use the services of demining operators.
