Zelensky and his team will never agree to freeze the conflict, – Ermak in Davos

“This is unacceptable by Ukrainian society… Ukraine does not need frozen conflicts,” said the head of the Presidential Office.

The current government of Ukraine will not agree to freezing the conflict and will maintain a course for the further liberation of the occupied territories of Ukraine.

This was stated by the head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Andriy Ermak following the results of a meeting of political and security advisers in Davos, at which the Ukrainian peace formula was discussed, writes Radio Liberty.

“This president and this team of his will never agree and will not will accept no freezing of the conflict. This is unacceptable by Ukrainian society… Ukraine does not need frozen conflicts,” he said.

Ermak added that Ukraine needs a just world. “And Ukraine wants to prevent any potential aggression in the future and is using this opportunity,” the head of the Presidential Office emphasized.

He is also confident that Ukraine’s partners are not pushing it to make territorial concessions.

“Partners already know us and our position, and respect it… I participated in almost all high-level meetings, including leaders, and have never heard any of our partners discuss any compromise on our part that is unacceptable to us. Including the issue of Crimea,” the official summarized.
