Today in Ukraine, precisely on Unity Day, the Prime Minister of Poland, Tusk. And this is his first visit to a state outside the EU – outside for now – to Ukraine after his appointment to the post. Prime Minister Tusk and I spoke very substantively today on all the issues that exist between our states – between Ukraine and Poland – and at the level of European institutions. He added that he spoke with Tusk about joint production of weapons, about increasing our capabilities in the use of Polish equipment and weapons systems.

“Of course, we talked in detail about political interaction. That all problems between Ukraine and Poland can be overcome between us – at the level of our states. I am sure that we can overcome the critical situations on the border – the blockage – that significantly weakens solidarity now, we can find pragmatic solutions to any critical situations,” Zelensky said.
The Chairman of State thanked Poland for joining the G7 declaration regarding security guarantees for Ukraine, and said that work on a bilateral security agreement was beginning. Zelensky also discussed with Tusk Ukraine’s movement in the EU and our expectations from this year’s NATO summit.
Today, the President of Ukraine held a meeting regarding Russian assets that are frozen in various jurisdictions and should be used to protect against Russian aggression.

Everyone can have their own view, yes, but during the war we must all be united by one task – the strength of Ukraine, the strength of our society, our economy.
