This is stated in Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 59/2024 of February 8, 2024.
In addition, by Decree No. 60/2024 of February 8, 2024, Vladimir Zelensky appointed Alexander Syrsky as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .
Before this, Zelensky, by his decree No. 58/2024, dismissed Colonel General Alexander Syrsky from the post of commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The publication's sources reported that in response to this proposal, Zaluzhny said that it was the right of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to decide with whom to work. But, according to them, he did not write a report and does not intend to. On February 8, the president and Zaluzhny almost simultaneously announced a meeting and agreement that the Armed Forces of Ukraine needed changes.
