Today, at about 2 p.m., the Russians dropped seven aerial bombs on border communities in the Sumy region.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Sumy region, the enemy struck the Yunakovsky, Khotyn and Nikolaev communities with KABs. At least four private residential buildings, a farm area and a warehouse were also damaged.

“Today, Commander-in-Chief Syrsky identified candidates for deputies, and I will sign the corresponding decrees. Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff have also been identified. All the guys are combative, professional, each with a clear knowledge of the front and the real needs of Ukrainian soldiers,” noted the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. combat encounter.

In total, the enemy carried out 49 air strikes and carried out 52 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks have unfortunately resulted in civilian casualties. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure, were destroyed and damaged.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repulsed 18 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bogdanovka, Ivanovskoe and Kleshchievka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdeevka direction, our defenders repulsed 17 attacks in the areas settlements of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka and 10 more attacks in the Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye areas of the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation into the murder of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war has begun.

As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, we are talking about the shooting of Ukrainian defenders by Russians during the seizure of positions of the Defense Forces near the village. Kleshchievki, Bakhmut district. This crime was recorded on video, and it appeared online on February 9.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Main Directorate of the SBU in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Photographer Maxim Levin died on March 13 2022 in the village of Moshchun. Posthumously awarded the title “Hero of Ukraine”, as well as the Order “For Courage”.
