The Ministry of Economics of Ukraine and the World Bank are working on raising 500 million dollars . The proceeds will be used to finance projects to support Ukrainian business in 2024.
RBC-Ukraine informs about this through messages to the Ministry of Economics.
“I want to thank the World Bank for supporting Ukraine during the war. At this time, they plan to finance a program to support Ukrainian business for 500 million dollars. And this is even relevant for us, and even now we are working on unification of all related programs under a single Made brand In Ukraine to increase its efficiency,” said First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
Behind the data of the Economy, the parties discussed ways to increase exports Ukraine's potential and the possibility of obtaining financing for the Light Bank before the implementation of the program Plgov crediting “Eoselya”. It was also discussed to expand the capabilities of the Export Credit Agency to insure war risks, including for small and medium-sized businesses.
The Ministry of Economics and the World Bank discussed the modernization of the program “Available loans 5-7-9%” and the possibility of stimulating Ukrainian banks to be more active in lending to businesses.
