50 countries must immediately stop the war in Ukraine in accordance with the decision of the International Court of Justice. The joint statement was read by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba before a Security Council meeting dedicated to the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion.

As Ukrinform reports, the document recalls that on March 16, 2022, an order of the International Court ordered Russia to stop the military operation. This decision remains legally binding and must be implemented.

But Russia grossly violates international law, ignores its obligations and inflicts attacks on civilian infrastructure and the population prohibited by international humanitarian agreements. Russia is “undermining trust in the UN Security Council, exacerbating regional tensions and putting everyone at risk,” the statement said.
