The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained how it calculates the enemy’s losses. The department clarified that Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine amounted to 412,400 people killed and wounded as of February 27, 2024.

This was reported by the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, senior lieutenant Andrey Kovalev in a commentary to Ukrainskaya Pravda ” .

“Every day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine publishes the total combat losses of the enemy. Let us emphasize that these are just general losses. The total losses of the Russian occupiers, which are published by the General Staff, consist of two main indicators of losses that the enemy receives during the course of combat combat operations. Namely, irretrievable losses and combat medical losses of the enemy,” he noted.

Kovalev added that as of February 27, 2024, the total losses of the Russian occupiers are approximately 412,400 people.
