Farewell to the fallen defenders in Lviv

On Monday, March 4, Lviv residents saw off the last journey of servicemen Igor Grunik and Sergei Kushnir, who defended Ukraine from the Russian occupiers.

The funeral of the military personnel took place in the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

Subsequently, a city farewell ceremony was held on Market Square, which was traditionally accompanied by a minute of silence and a performance by a trumpeter. During the ceremony, the trumpeter plays the melody Taps, which is used in many countries to say goodbye to the military. com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/e0c1f14718dfa7cecdeeda5d11c9e27c.jpg” alt=”Lviv said goodbye to defenders Igor Grunik and Sergei Kushnir ” />
