The main thing for Wednesday, March 6: attack on Odessa during the visit of Zelensky and Mitsotakis, attack on Borovaya

Battles near Avdiivka, 76 military clashes, enemy shelling, protests of farmers in Warsaw. How will the 742nd day of a full-scale war be remembered?

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this during his visit to Odessa.

Vladimir Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine needs an air defense system to protect the civilian population, because the Russian army does not care where to hit. People are dying.

It is known that at the time of the attack, President Zelensky was with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the port. “President Zelensky and his staff showed us and explained the importance of the port and what is being done to restore and strengthen the Ukrainian maritime route and what damage it suffered during the attacks. Already at the very end we heard the sound of sirens and explosions that were very close to us . We didn’t have time to go to a protected place, this is a very impressive experience,” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

As a result of the Russian strike on March 6 on the port infrastructure of Odessa, five people were killed.

“On March 6, the enemy struck the city's port infrastructure. Five people were killed. Investigations are underway and all the circumstances of another war crime by the Russian Federation are being established,” Pletenchuk noted.

The Southern Defense Forces denied the connection between the missile attack on Odessa on March 6 and the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

This was stated by the representative of the Southern Defense Forces Natalya Gumenyuk on the air of Donbass.Realii

“Russia is a terrorist, and it obviously continues attacks on port infrastructure. Thus, a missile strike was carried out on Odessa “, probably by ballistics, hitting one of the buildings in the port infrastructure. But this has nothing to do with a specific visit. This is due to the terror that the enemy is quite methodically carrying out,” Gumenyuk noted.

< p class="MsoNormal ">The speaker emphasized that Russia is attacking the port infrastructure of Odessa both before and after the termination of the grain agreement.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 76 military clashes occurred during the day.
