Serviceman and journalist Dmitry Sinchenko died at the front

According to the Institute of Mass Information, Dmitry Sinchenko became the 73rd media worker to die as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Dmitry Sinchenko at the front, reports Institute of Mass Information with reference to Dmitry's ex-wife Elena Sinchenko.

“Dmitry had one great love – Ukraine. He dreamed of her bright future and tried to do everything to come to it as soon as possible. He lived for it and gave his life for it. He was a bright, intelligent, sincere, principled person,” wrote Elena Sinchenko.

She suggested honoring his memory like this: “Do not take or give bribes. Fight for your rights. Live according to your conscience and according to the Constitution. Speak Ukrainian, read Ukrainian, listen to Ukrainian. Decommunize and de-Russify yourself and the space around you. Believe me, he will rejoice wherever he is.”

Dmitry Sinchenko (call sign “Perun”) is a fighter of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army (UDA) from Kropyvnytskyi. He joined the CAA after the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24.

Dmitry is the author of the Week, Radio Liberty. For the Week, he wrote materials about the everyday life of soldiers at the front. The last report was published on August 24, 2023.

Since 2012, he has headed the NGO “Association of Political Sciences”. Political analyst, blogger, publicist.

Since 2014, he has been involved in volunteering for the army, and subsequently became a military volunteer himself – in the UGA.

Earlier, Roman Ryazhskikh, a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism at Lvov University, died in the war. Roman was injured while performing a combat mission.
