“Over the past week, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled almost 180 unsuccessful enemy assaults,” Kovalev said.
In the Orikhovsky direction, the Russians carried out more than 40 unsuccessful attacks on troop positions in the Gulyai-Polye areas , east of Levadnoye, Malinovka, Robotinoye, west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region.
“In the Kherson direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting defense, improving mine-explosive barriers and logistics support routes. Russian invaders continue to attack air strikes and carry out artillery shelling on the positions of our troops and settlements in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions,” said the speaker of the General Staff.
The Russians are also trying to dislodge the defenders from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River. During the week, the enemy made more than 10 unsuccessful assaults.
