Drug dealers who distributed “products” throughout Ukraine were exposed in the Odessa region

The monthly income of the criminals, at “black market” prices, amounted to more than 2 million 250 thousand UAH.

In the Odessa region, law enforcement officers exposed a drug distribution network and psychotropics in the Odessa region and throughout Ukraine.

“The illegal “business” was organized by four Odessa residents, among them two men and two women. The main organizer of the drug gang turned out to be a 29-year-old woman,” the State Tax Service said in a statement.

The group specialized in the distribution and sale of almost the entire spectrum of drugs: crack, cannabis, amphetamine, and Alfa PVP. To search for drug-addicted clients, the suspects used telegram channels and social networks, and distributed drugs through couriers and mail. 250 thousand UAH.

Law enforcement officers documented the illegal activities of the criminal group for several months.

Currently, all four participants in the criminal scheme have been detained, they were informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

  • In the Ternopil region, they liquidated a criminal organization that distributed drugs in Ukraine and EU countries. 6 members of an interregional criminal organization were reported on suspicion of smuggling, production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.
  • In 2023, the police seized almost 3 tons of narcotic substances. At “black market” prices, the estimated cost of the detected prohibited substances exceeds 785 million hryvnia.
