The Democratic leader in the House of Representatives announced the deadline for accepting aid for Ukraine

The Minority Chairman is convinced that it will not be possible to delay beyond the end of next week.

House of Representatives of Congress

Billion dollar bill for Ukraine should be passed in the US House of Representatives by the end of next week. This conviction was expressed at a weekly briefing by the head of the Democratic minority in the lower house of Congress, Gakim Jeffries.

According to the politician, the document must be approved “before we leave the city” – this implies the completion of the plenary work of congressmen before the Easter holidays. So Jeffries gives his colleagues, most notably Speaker Mike Johnson, a deadline of Friday, March 22. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is also trying to do the same, calling on him to “lead forward or get out of the way.”
