Ukraine will introduce a prize for special contribution to ensuring the development of the Crimean Tatar language

Each year, 20 prizes will be awarded in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnia each.

A prize will be introduced in Ukraine for the development of the Crimean Tatar language.

The corresponding institution was adopted by the government at a meeting on March 15, reports the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The document stipulates that 20 bonuses in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnia each will be awarded every year.

The document was developed by the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience as part of the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of the Crimean Tatar Language for 2022-2032, which the Cabinet of Ministers approved on February 23, 2022.

The prize and distinction will be provided to those who will contribute to the development and popularization of the Crimean Tatar language.
