“These figures are only for the last 24 hours and this dynamics is constantly increasing.”
Igor Klimenko
March, Minister Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, together with the Head of the National Police Ivan Vygovsky and the head of the OVA Oleg Kiper, visited the sites of yesterday's Russian missile strikes on Odessa.
This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Klimenko also held operational meeting with the leadership of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, representatives of the National Guard and the State Border Service. The main topic was the issue of increasing the number of shellings.
Yes, in the last 24 hours alone the enemy has carried out more than 400 strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
“These figures are only for the last 24 hours and this dynamics is constantly increasing. This applies to both the border areas of Ukraine and and Kharkov, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kherson regions, so our citizens, of course, cannot feel completely safe, unfortunately, the enemy is trying to sow panic in our state and narratives about offensive actions and it is impossible to stop the enemy and expel from our territory,” Klimenko emphasized.
- Yesterday the Russians attacked Odessa with ballistic missiles. After the first strike, when doctors and rescue workers arrived on the scene, the enemy opened fire again at the site of the first hit.
- As a result of the strike, 21 people died, another 39 people are in hospital. The attack on March 15 is considered the most massive in terms of the number of victims. Mourning for the dead has been declared in the region.
- Previously, the head of the joint press center of OK “South” Natalya Gumenyuk previously emphasized that the Odessa region needs enhanced protection, in particular – specific air defense systems that knock down ballistics.
