As Deutsche Welle writes, Schröder said that Scholz “is doing exactly what I expected from the chancellor at such a moment.”
“Being called 'Chancellor of Peace' when you show dedication to peace, is that a bad thing?” – the politician asked journalists.

- After his resignation, the politician worked in Russia, where he held senior positions in several energy companies. He is considered a personal friend of Vladimir Putin.
