Canada's Minister of Defense Bill Blair discussed Ukraine's experience in using drones on the battlefield with Minister of Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin. The ministers also discussed Ukrainian achievements in the production of drones.

Ukrinform reports this.

“We discussed opportunities for cooperation, and even how coalition allies, including Canada, could invest in Ukrainian-made drones. In my opinion, this is a very real possibility,” Blair noted.

He added that no one knows better than the Ukrainians than to fight the Russians.

“They have two years of strict combat experience in this. I think we should all learn from the evolution of the use of drones in war and make decisions about future purchases based on this,” the Canadian minister emphasized.

Blair noted that Canada, like other partners, will try to provide Ukraine with a million drones. Some of these drones will be manufactured in Ukraine.

“We will work with Ukrainians in the spirit of cooperation and support their own production. However, this has real advantages for all members of the coalition, including Canada,” summed up the Canadian Minister of Defense.
