WSJ: The Czech Republic will organize the purchase of ammunition for Ukraine from Russian allies

According to the publication, the country uses good connections with the countries of the “global south” to implement its initiative.

> The Wall Street Journal claims that the Czech initiative to provide Ukraine with 800,000 ammunition until the end of 2024 includes the purchase of weapons from countries favorable to the Kremlin.

Journalists learned that representatives of the Czech Republic are taking advantage of the past of the included country. into the socialist camp and has good connections with the countries of the “global south”, among which there are many who do not criticize Russia for the war unleashed in Ukraine.

The Czech Republic, according to the special representative for Ukraine Tomas Kopechny, acts as a mediator transferring order and payment from a Western state. Cargo logistics take place through third countries – in order to protect the supplier from a negative reaction from Moscow. Confidentiality plays a big role in the success of this business.
