For more than two years now, Kharkov and the region have been experiencing terrible Russian attacks. Saltovka was destroyed by rockets, other areas and streets of the city were damaged. Villages and towns in the region were destroyed. Today is another Russian strike on Kharkov; five people were killed by a Russian missile in Kharkov.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his address.

“Kharkov needs enough air defense systems. Sumy region requires air defense. Chernihiv region and all our other regions suffering from Russian terror. Partners have these protective systems. And partners need to understand that air defense must protect life,” the president emphasized.

“I thanked Mr. Prime Minister Modi for his constant support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state, as well as for his participation in the work on the Peace Formula at the advisory level. I invited India to participate in the first Global Peace Summit, which we are preparing in Switzerland. It is very important that a global power like India show its leadership in restoring a just world and in defending the purposes and principles of the UN Charter – this is the meaning of our Peace Formula. Of course, we discussed bilateral relations with Mr. Prime Minister of India,” said the head of state.

Vladimir Zelensky also met with the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands and discussed with her the protection of our cities and villages, air defense and increasing the capabilities of our army .

In the evening, the President of Ukraine met with Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States. The conversation was about defense cooperation and the overall political results that we must achieve.

“We must be resilient in the face of various challenges, we must be long-range to overcome Putin, and not be in a situation where doubts about the strength of the West help this madman. Putin must lose – and this is a matter of life and death for the democratic world. When he loses, the democratic world will have a good prospect for a generation to come,” Zelensky assured.

The Chairman of the State also took part in the Summit for Democracy, which is taking place for the third time, this time in Korea.
