Russian missile attack on DneproHES, March 22, 2024
Ukrhydroenergo director Igor Sirota on Radio Liberty reported on the condition of DneproHES after the morning missile attack by Russians.
He said that according to The DneproHPP in the city of Zaporozhye had two direct hits.
It is not known whether it will be possible to restore HPP-2, it is seriously damaged. HPP-1 is also not working now.
One support was hit, the crane beams were broken.
“We will have to completely restore the machine room and electrical equipment. We will calculate the consequences during the day and understand what happened,” said Igor Sirota.
