According to the chairman of the High Council of Justice, almost 2 billion hryvnia are needed to resume work in these premises.
Usik spoke about the consequences of a full-scale Russia's war against Ukraine for the infrastructure of domestic courts.
According to him, quoted by Ukrinform, 124 premises in which legal proceedings were carried out were in one way or another damaged by enemy shelling. 15 court buildings were completely destroyed.
To resume work in damaged buildings, taking into account repairs and the purchase of new equipment and furniture to replace those that were disabled, 1.9 billion hryvnia will be needed – and this is only a preliminary estimate.
