An unknown object exploded. According to the latest data, 2 people died.

In Bila Tserkva, Kiev region, a person died as a result of an explosion in an apartment, the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations reported.< /The event took place on the third floor of a five-story residential building. The explosion destroyed three floors and a fire broke out.

“As a result of the explosion of an unknown object, the ceiling in the apartments between the 2nd and 5th floors was destroyed, followed by a fire,” noted the State Emergency Service.

The fire was extinguished; during the work, emergency workers saved 3 people, including an eight-year-old child who was hospitalized. A human body was recovered from the rubble.

Currently, work continues, there is a threat of structural destruction.

Updated. Later, the State Emergency Service reported that as of 19:45, the number of deaths as a result of the explosion of an unknown object had increased to 2 (fragments of a body were found on the third floor of the house). State Emergency Service psychologists provided assistance to 17 people. Work continues.
