About this reports the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office. </p> <p>By the decision of the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv, the claim of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office against a commercial structure for recognition as illegal, cancellation of registration and termination of ownership of two real estate objects on Trukhanov Island in Kiev was satisfied.</p> <p>It was established that the Panamanian company in 2021, illegally registered ownership of real estate with an area of ​​almost 840 sq.m and 750 sq.m on the territory of Trukhanov Island.</p> <p>At the same time, the <b>Kyiv City Council acquired a plot of land for the placement of buildings on the island no persons were allocated</b>, since the territory of the island has a special environmental status – it belongs to the lands of the water fund, and is also reserved for the creation of a natural reserve fund.</p> <p>In this regard, the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office in 2023 appealed to the Economic Court of the city of Kiev with a claim in the interests of the state represented by the Kyiv City Council against the mentioned commercial structure for the removal of obstacles in the possession of the territory of Trukhanov Island.</p> <p>By the decision of the Economic Court of Kiev, the claim of the prosecutor's office was satisfied in full. State registration of the Panamanian company's ownership of the property has been cancelled.</p> <p>Recall that in September 2022, the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office reported that the head of the Kyiv City Council of Trade Unions and a private notary are suspected of appropriating a sports base and land on the damaged Trukhanov Island. damage to the state amounting to more than 700 million hryvnia.
