Ukraine's accession to NATO

Back in the spring of 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the head of the Supreme Council Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister Denis Shmigal signed an application for Ukraine's accession to NATO according to the established procedure that transfers the integration without Membership Action Plan (MAP).

Already on the 11-12 June 2023 summit, NATO countries accepted a three-part package that will bring Ukraine closer to the Alliance. Zokrema decided to participate in the MAP.

According to the words of the river officer of the Sovereign Department of the United States of America (USA) Matthew Miller, Ukraine can become a NATO member only after the end of a full-scale war. Suddenly “the process collapses.”
