More than 23,000 police officers will keep order on Easter

At Easter they will maintain order in Ukraine for more than 23 hours.

The head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police, Maxim Akhrameev, announced this during the telethon.

“The National Police will take the necessary measures aimed at properly ensuring law and order, including ensuring public safety and order during religious ceremonies, as well as an increase in the number of automobile and pedestrian patrols on the streets of populated areas,” he noted.

They will increase the number of investigative teams for quick response and documentation of illegal actions and create reserves from among the special police , explosives technicians and dog handlers

“In total, more than 23 thousand law enforcement officers will be involved. Of course, we will serve side by side with our colleagues from the emergency service,” added Akhrameev.
