The Slovak Prime Minister called Macron's statements “a step towards a third world war”

Robert Fico claims that a Slovak warrior will never set foot across the border with Ukraine.

Pro-Russian Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico during question hour for the government in parliament commented on statements by French President Emmanuel Macron about sending troops to Ukraine.

As Aktuality writes, the politician said that Slovakia has “no relation to the war in Ukraine” and promised not to allow “the a Slovak soldier crossed the border into Ukraine, no matter who demanded anything from us.”

“Ukraine is not a NATO member,” the official argued.

As for Macron’s words, Fico considers them “a step towards a third world war.” However, he recognizes that this is a sovereign matter for France, which can make its own decisions.
