“You see that this plane was shot down by a unit of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As you know, the Ground Forces also have air defense systems. In particular, we see the work of small and medium-range air defense, which can to cope, in particular, with aircraft, and are extremely important,” notes Evlash.
Evlash adds that the Defense Forces need portable air defense systems that can combat low-flying targets, both drones and highly effective systems to combat enemy aircraft.
