Ukraine is taking prototypes of artillery shells from the German defense concern Rheinmetall, building targets on a distance of 100 kilometers .
The CEO of Rheinmetall Armin Papperger stated this, RBC-Ukraine reports from the German edition of Handelsblatt.
At the hour of entering the Industrial Club of Dusseldorf, the CEO of Rheinmetall rose, What does the concern plan? to supply Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of ammunition, including long-range prototypes.
“Artillery changes the rules (on the battlefield – ed.),” said Papperger.
As the military portal Defense writes Express, of course, is talking about a prototype of a long-range 155-caliber artillery shell called Vulcano. Just recently it was known that Germany was transferring laser lights to the ZSU for the Vulcano version, which is designed to fly 70 kilometers.
It seems likely that the German concern Rheinmetall is about to announce the announcement You have transferred to Ukraine 20 additional Marder infantry fighting vehicles. The German detachment washed away the armored vehicles from the birch rock. It is expected that the transfer of these machines to Ukraine will be in 2024.
And finally, the European Union has seen financial assistance to Rheinmetall in the amount of over 130 million euros to increase production shortage of ammunition that Ukraine will even require.
