Handing over China's election could undermine Canadian democracy, Canadian intelligence

The troubling handing over of the election to China could potentially undermine Canadian democracy, going to the to the official name before the secret activities of Beijing's Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).

“Such activities, which are aimed at promoting the national interests of the People’s Republic of China, could potentially undermine the democratic process of Canada and its institutions,” says the speaker.

China and organizations associated with the ruling Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, “are a persistent threat to Canada's information, technology, democratic institutions, and diasporic communities,” CSIS said.
