Umerov told which vacancies are the most popular in recruiting centers

“Today, drivers, mechanics, drone operators or people who want to use drones – more such civilian positions – they are all in very high demand,” said the head of the Ministry of Defense.

In addition to physical recruiting centers, positions in the army can be selected online.

“We open up and give people a choice so that they are not afraid to serve their country, so that they go to work: choose a profession , passed all the interviews and received a position that will work in favor of the state,” Umerov added.

According to the minister, there are now about 20 recruiting centers in the country.

Recently, an information point for recruiting into the Ukrainian army was opened at the capital's Central Railway Station. It is located in the central lobby of the station, between the main information point and the entrance to hall No. 3.

The first recruiting center was opened in Lviv in February of this year. It was a pilot project of the Ministry of Defense together with the Lviv City Council.
