Zelensky discussed with the President of Slovakia the treatment of children from Okhmatdyt

According to the Office of the President, the key topic of conversation was the consequences of the Russian missile attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv. Both leaders condemned this act of terror and discussed the possibility of treating young patients in Slovakia. Zelensky also noted the need to protect Ukrainian cities from enemy shelling by obtaining more air defense systems.

The presidents noted the results of the April joint meeting of governments and agreed to strengthen humanitarian cooperation, jointly implementing projects in the field of energy and border infrastructure. Vladimir Zelensky thanked Slovakia for supporting Ukraine’s movement into the European Union.
