NEC “Ukrenergo” will purchase services in advance to support the energy system from distributed generation ii, which is at the stage wakefulness.
RBC-Ukraine reports about this from the request of the head of the NEC “Ukrenergo” Volodymyr Kudrytsky in an interview with “Suspilny”.
“Ukrenergo” will be bought for 5 years in new power plants the service is to balance, in essence, the energy system. We will complete the contract with power plants that have not yet been built 5 years in advance. We will be obligated to buy back their balancing service at the auction price,” Kudrytsky said.
The head of NEC Ukrenergo announced that the first such auction for additional services for investors is ready and there will be decentralized generation in Ukraine, will be available for a number of years.
Kudrytsky explained that with such a long-term contract, investors can cancel the loan against generation, and, obviously, they can pay off their and financial investment models 5 years ahead.
Previously, Kudrytsky confirmed that the company plans to repay over 19 billion hryvnias to power plants in the balancing electricity market.
This year it became clear that Ukrenergo plans to cover the balance electricity market cost of donors .
