A 22-year-old resident of Rivne was detained for smoking in the cars of military personnel ordered by the Russian Federation.

He found a “job” in a Russian chatbot and managed to set fire to two cars.

The police detained a 22-year-old resident of Rivne, who was smoking the cars of military personnel. He found such a “job” in Russia. chat bot.

“The attacker makes an excuse that he urgently needed money. The Criminal Code of Ukraine estimates such “earnings” as punishable by up to 10 years in prison,” law enforcement officers commented.

It is noted that a resident of the regional center, looking for an easy part-time job, found in one of the Russian chatbots an offer to set fire to a car belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a reward. 

In the future, in the Russian media, videos with such cars are presented as arson of the cars of TCC and JV workers in order to create in the enemy media a picture of an unauthorized initiative allegedly opposing the mobilization of Ukrainians.

On July 2, a resident of a resident set fire to a Nissan Almera car, which belonged to a serviceman. He immediately reported on the “work” done, sending confirming photos.

And a few days later he set fire to another vehicle – a Nissan X-Trail, which was being prepared for the frontline defenders. In addition, the fire spread to another car, a Volkswagen Golf, partially damaging it. 

The “Zarobitchanin” was promised several thousand dollars for this. However, it is not yet known whether the attacker managed to receive a monetary reward, because police operatives exposed him,” the police added.

Rivne investigators The RUP detained a 22-year-old resident of Rivne in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed him in a temporary detention center.

The police informed him of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional damage to property by arson).

The court granted the investigator’s request and chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 242,240 hryvnia.

“He admits to what he did, cooperates with the investigation and assures: he did not know that he was fulfilling the order of the aggressor country,” law enforcement officers said.
