The Russian Federation will not be able to destroy the Kiev and Kaniv dams Hydroelectric power station (GES), as it was from Kakhovskaya.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine in a letter to the General Director of Ukrhidenergo Igor Sirota in an interview with Forbes.
As Sirota explained, the largest Ukrainian hydroelectric power plants may not be able to cancel calls. For this reason, the enemy had the opportunity to fly into the territory of Ukraine on airplanes and drop a dozen aircraft bombs on them.
“The Kiev and Kanivska HPPs were deployed in the center of Ukraine, far from the front line, so enemy aircraft are unlikely to approach. This is an extremely unlikely scenario. because it was occupied by them. Hundreds of kilograms of vibukhivka were brought there,” – adding VIN.
Currently, the general director of Ukrhidenergo has realized that as if this has happened, the catastrophic legacy cannot be recaptured, leaving behind the worst possible flooding of basements in many areas of Kiev “.
“Once there is significant damage from missiles, there may be a water leak – people in nearby settlements will be left without water. Otherwise, there will be no catastrophic consequences, as in the Kherson region. A number of missile strikes in one place can break through at the dam, water comes out. The entire station and 12 water discharge gates were practically destroyed at the Kakhovsky hydroelectric power plant. It would have been impossible to achieve this with missile strikes,” Sirota explained.

Recently, a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, stated that Ukraine intends to destroy the dams of the Kiev Hydroelectric Power Station and the Kaniv Reservoir.
Behind these words, Ukraine plans є earn money, so ” to recapture the story” for international cohesion, linking Russia to military misdeeds and ask Zakhid for new military assistance.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Health also responded to Zakharova’s statement, giving these unfounded calls as absurd.
