According to him, our state will “find a solution” regardless of the outcome of the American will. At the same time, the official expressed his conviction that “the United States wants to see its partners and allies strong.” Umerov emphasized “Ukraine’s faith in the leadership of the United States.”
The minister also confirmed the intention of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to continue to fight for the liberation of the occupied territories and called one of the main tasks of the military the return to control of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are focusing on protecting against enemy attacks on cities and infrastructure – but “this is difficult to do if you do not strike Russian airfields and other military facilities with weapons provided by partners.”
