Alexander Syrsky

In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on behalf of Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky, the development and implementation of a comprehensive action program “Saving the lives of military personnel” has been completed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

According to the General Staff, “Saving the lives of military personnel” is a universal system for each unit, the key priority of which is preserving the lives of our soldiers.

The command noted that special attention will be paid to:

“An important aspect of the implementation of the program is the actions of unit commanders, because they are entrusted with maximum responsibility for preserving the lives of personnel. We are fighting for our land, but the life of a Ukrainian soldier is the most important. The position can be returned, life cannot,” noted the General Staff.

Work on the implementation of the program will continue under the personal supervision of Alexander Syrsky.

  • The other day, fighters from the Rarog battalion of unmanned aerial systems of the 24th Mechanized Infantry Brigade recorded a video message to Vladimir Zelensky with an appeal not to fire their brigade commander Ivan Golishevsky. The fighters say that they plan to remove Golishevsky from the post of commander for “not leading a brigade without proper staffing into meat assaults.”
  • Before this, the paramedic of the 59th Separate Motorized Brigade named after. Yakova Handzyuka, Azovstal defender Ekaterina Polishchuk (“Bird”) also turned to Zelensky and called for brigade commander Bogdan Shevchuk to be removed from office. And again the issue was about the effectiveness of personnel management.
  • Last month, an appeal from the chief of staff of the Azov brigade of the National Guard, Bogdan Krotevich, to the State Bureau of Investigation appeared. Krotevich called for an investigation into the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yuriy Sodol, and accused the latter of exceeding his official authority and incompetent command of troops.
