On Saturday, an official farewell ceremony for the hero took place at the Baykovo Cemetery in Kyiv.

It is noted that Senkala has been in Ukraine since the fall of last year, serving in the International Legion.

“Today we are here to say goodbye to the military man who gave his life for the freedom of Ukraine. With our presence and prayers, we are grateful for what he did for our country. Thanks to the soldiers of the International Legion, the whole world learned that we will survive and win the war with Russia,” the publication quotes one of the speakers at the farewell ceremony.

It is noted that Tomasz Senkala will be buried in his homeland, in the Lublin Voivodeship. /p>

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, about ten Polish citizens have died at the front in Ukraine.
