“Naftogaz” named the gas reserves in the underground camps of Ukraine

For the first time this season, Ukraine has pumped nearly 2.5 billion cubic meters of gas into underground reservoirs (GSG). . The total reserves for the burning season have exceeded 10 billion cubic meters.

RBC-Ukraine informs about this in a message to the press service of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

As stated in the press service, tempo accumulated gas allows us to optimistically forecast the plan, and 13.2 billion cubic meters before 1 leaf fall

Without imports and Russian transit

Guess what, Ukraine has passed the burning season of 2023-2024 without importing gas Europe According to the Memorandum with the IMF, imports will not be required at any time.

According to expert estimates, the PSG will actually accumulate 13-14 billion cubic meters of gas, and such obligations may be used to complete the upcoming burning season.

The contract for the transit of Russian gas will end in 2024. The Ukrainian government has repeatedly stated that it does not plan to continue the contract. A stress test of the Ukrainian gas transportation system and underground gas terminals was carried out on 2,023 people. Testing has shown that the system can function without transit.

As the transit of Russian gas will no longer be possible by 2025, the pressure on the GTS will be needed to transport natural gas from Europe to the PSG during the pumping season and at the gateway directly to Osin no- winter period.
