The head of “Ukrenergo” announced an improvement in the situation with light in just a couple of years

The light connections in Ukraine will be significantly less in the spring, spring and summer. At any hour during this period, the deficit may not be eliminated.

The head of Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, stated this, RBC-Ukraine reports on his interview with the Suspilne TV channel.

< p>“Of course, there are problems with shortages, but there are good new things: after a couple of important things, we will see an improvement in the situation, so that there will be an increase in generation costs, as a result of repairs, and units at power plants,” Kudrytsky said.< /p>

In his words, the food shortage will change, and the disease will gradually change in the spring and in the evening, as there will be no new large-scale shelling.

“We still have a bad chance to get through this period either without connection, or with radically smaller connections, at the same time,” said Vin.

Kudrytsky guessed that in Ukraine, half of the generation, which was at the beginning of the birth of this fate, is damaged or broken. “And you know, I’ll tell you this, if any other energy system in this situation would simply collapse, there would simply be another blackout in the coming months,” added the head of Ukrenergo.

According to the experts’ forecast, In mid-autumn in Ukraine, the population may be able to turn on the lights at any time. But this will not be the case for long, and then the situation will get worse again.

The IMF predicts the average electricity shortage in Ukraine in 2024 will be around 10%. At the same time there is a serious shortage (up to 30%), it’s clear that the year is peaking.
