Syrsky: Russia wanted to create a “security corridor” for itself in the Kharkov region. It failed

In general, according to the commander-in-chief, the enemy’s successes are only tactical, not operational.

Alexander Syrsky

Russia planned to create one for its troops in the Kharkov region – on the border with Belgorod region. But this attempt failed, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky said in a conversation with The Guardian.

Commenting on the likelihood of a new offensive in the south of the Zaporozhye region, Syrsky said that Ukraine “can give a good response” if this happens. In general, he believes that the latest successes of the Russians on the battlefield are tactical, local.

They did not make an operational breakthrough.

“In principle, the enemy has not made significant progress,” said the commander-in-chief.
