Due to damage to the main power network, electricity production was limited at one of the large generating facilities.
This statement Energy Minister German Galushchenko made this statement during his visit to the nuclear power plant, the Ministry of Energy quotes him. The message did not specify the period of time for which the restriction applies.
“Unfortunately, we cannot now fully release a certain generation. These restrictions arose as a result of missile and drone strikes,” he said.
Energy workers are working around the clock to restore supplies.
- Since the spring of this year, Russia has carried out eight massive strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities, including thermal power plants. The destruction led to planned and emergency restrictions on the supply of electricity.
- The most difficult situation arose in July, however, in the twenties, after the return of the nuclear power plant units for repairs, the schedules became more lenient.
