They are no longer in “positions”.
The former leadership of Olenivska colony was informed of suspicion in the case of the Russian terrorist attack committed in July 2022, as a result of which at least 50 Ukrainian prisoners were killed and about 150 were injured.
We are talking about the former head of the so-called Volnovakha correctional colony, Sergei Yevsyukov, and his first deputy Neylov. This was reported by the SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Both infidels have already been removed from these “positions”.
“According to the investigation, both defendants were in “positions” when, on the night of July 29, the Russians carried out explosions on the territory of the occupation prison,” the SBU reported.
The investigation believes that both defendants deliberately delayed evacuating the prisoners wounded in the explosion to medical facilities. At least nine people died then as a result of the lack of medical care.
The Prosecutor General's Office added that these in absentia suspicions are the first result of the investigation into the mass murder of prisoners held in Olenivka.
- In July 2022, Russia carried out explosions in a colony where Ukrainian prisoners of war were held, including defenders of Mariupol. At the same time, it tried to blame Ukraine for the crime – allegedly, the Defense Forces fired missiles at the detention center. However, evidence shows that this is a lie.
- In September, Russia shelled the colony again. A prisoner was killed, some were injured.
