As of 22:00 on July 29, there were 117 combat encounters. The situation in the Pokrovsky direction remained the hottest today, the enemy was also active in the Kurakhovsky and Toretsky directions.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine using one missile, 82 air strikes (including 91 KAB), and used 459 kamikaze drones to destroy them. It carried out 3,467 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked four times near Glubokoye and Vovchansk.
In Kupyansk b>In the Limansky direction, the enemy also tried to advance four times during the day near Stelmakhovka and Peschanoye. There was no success.

In the Limansky direction, the invaders attacked twelve times in the areas of Makeyevka, Nevsky, Terny and in the Serebryansky forest. Everywhere our soldiers stopped the enemy, inflicting complex fire damage.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through our defenses six times during the day in the areas of Pereyezdny, Sporny and Ivanodaryevka. He suffered losses.
In the Kramatorskfive combat clashes occurred in this direction. The fighting continued in the areas of Grigoryevka, Vremenny Yar and Kleshchievka.
In the Toretsky direction, our troops repelled 16 enemy attacks. Three combat clashes continue near Toretsky and Zhelezny. The rest, mostly in the Severny area, were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.
The enemy showed the greatest activity today in Pokrovskydirection. In total, the occupiers tried to penetrate our defenses 39 times in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novoselovka Pervaya, Novoaleksandrovka, Progress, Timofeevka, Zhelanne and Yasnobrodovka. As of now, 30 enemy attacks have been repelled, nine clashes are ongoing. The enemy is suffering significant losses, especially in manpower – according to preliminary information, our soldiers have neutralized 165 occupiers in this direction. A tank and cars have been destroyed. Another five guns, three tanks, two tractors and a car of the occupiers were significantly damaged.
On The enemy attacked our positions 18 times in the Kurakhovsky direction. They were most active in the area of Konstantinovka and Praskovyevka. They used a significant number of armored vehicles for attacks and suffered corresponding losses. Our soldiers destroyed and damaged eight tanks, 21 armored vehicles, five motorcycles, one buggy and a 2A65 Msta-B cannon. In addition, about a hundred enemy soldiers were neutralized, most of them irretrievably.
The occupiers stormed our positions in the Vremovsky direction seven times. All attacks in the directions of Konstantinovka and Velyka Novosyolka have been stopped.
In the Orikhov direction, near Malaya Tokmachka, three unsuccessful clashes for the enemy took place.
In the Prydneprovsk direction, the enemy also unsuccessfully stormed the positions of Ukrainian soldiers three times.
Today, the defenders of the 79th separate airborne assault Tavricheskaya brigade, who are holding the defense in one of the hottest directions of the front, should be noted for their effective and professional combat work.
