During the full-scale war in the new WTOs, on February 4, 2022, at least 361 people were kidnapped by Russians in the newly occupied territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
This was reported by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.

It is noted that due to the timely response, the KRC learned about the fate of about 80 abducted people. Some of them were either released or placed in Russian places of detention.

“It should be emphasized that in the newly occupied territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, Russians do not follow the law and openly commit war crimes, including forced abductions, illegal entry into homes, torture and murder,” the Center concluded.
