But the information has been confirmed from various sources, and we can already talk about the fact of this incident as something that definitely took place,” the GUR representative added.</p> <ul> <li>On the night of Saturday, July 27, drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense struck a Russian long-range strategic bomber TU-22M3 at the Olenya airfield in Russia.</li> <li>The first explosions thundered at about six in the morning local time. Social media users write that they heard the sounds of at least three explosions. Local users also publish videos of drones flying towards the airfield and a photo of a column of black smoke rising above the military facility.</li> <li>It is known that 43 centers for combat use and retraining of Russian flight personnel are stationed at this airfield.
