Russia used decoy drones tonight. The OPU talks about new Gerbera UAVs

The enemy wants to exhaust our country's air defense systems.

On the night of July 31, Russian occupation forces used a considerable number of distracting drones to attack Ukraine.

This was reported on the air of the telemarathon by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

“This time there was a significant number of so-called distracting UAVs, that is, without an explosive part. The purpose of which is to exhaust and study air defense systems. And this is also not a new tactic. Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Vladislav Vlasyuk said that the enemy used a new type of drone. They have not yet been disassembled into molecules, but they look like an economy version of the Shahed. Plywood instead of composite, a minimum of components, all the same cheap made in China,” Vlasyuk noted.
