GUR: Occupiers pay bribes to escape from the army, Russia opens criminal cases

Almost half of such proceedings are being investigated against the occupiers of the 8th Combined Arms Army from the Russian Federation. Another 36% is accounted for by the 58th Combined Arms Army of the aggressor state, whose commander was arrested this spring on suspicion of corruption. for providing leave from the combat zone.

The GUR noted that the level of corruption in the Russian army has always been high, however, previously they did not pay attention to such cases of bribery.

“The recording of relevant episodes in the form of criminal cases may indicate an increase in the level of demoralization of the personnel of the occupation forces and a threat to Moscow has a tendency to flee the Russian army by any means necessary,” the intelligence service reported.
