Residents of Kherson region warned of possible massive shelling by Russia

Residents of the region are asked to stay home for safety.

Residents of the Kherson region were warned of possible Russian massive shelling of 2 which are located along the Dnieper, including Kherson.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA Oleksandr Prokudin.

“On this day (August 2, – ed.) Russians, obsessed with symbolism, celebrate Airborne Forces Day. Therefore, enemy terrorist attacks are likely,” Prokudin emphasized.

The Chairman of the OVA advised residents of the region to spend tomorrow at home: “Do not move around the streets without urgent need and do not visit crowded places. In case of shelling, go to the nearest storage facility or street shelter. Take care of yourself.”

Since August 1, the Russians have introduced a “special regime” along the 15-kilometer coastal zone of the Dnieper from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
