Based on the images, you can see that due to drone attacks, most of the fighters based there were removed from the airfield.
- The day before, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Defense Forces attacked the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. They hit ammunition warehouses, where, in particular, guided aerial bombs were stored.
- This is not the first attack on this airfield. In April of this year, at least six enemy aircraft were destroyed here, and another eight were significantly damaged. There were reports of enemy casualties – a total of 20 military personnel.
- B. In December 2023, as a result of the shelling of Morozovsk in Russia, more than a dozen Russian aircraft were hit. The airfield was attacked by 17 attack UAVs. The Russians shot down seven drones using the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, and 10 hit targets.
